The first day's picking up was a great social and good shooting, but not the best dog day. No scent from fallen birds in the hot sun and dry conditions made the dogs job difficult. Seen retrieves on dead birds fine but anything blind or on the move needed a bit of luck to find it. Checkout this foal on one drive that decided to investigate what those dogs were up to !
