It has been a joy to train The Scottish HPR Team these last months, for the HPR Home International at The Game Fair on Friday. Mavis goes on holiday
Taking a 14 week old pup on holiday sounds quite daunting but it can work. Keep as much consistency as you can, food, bedding, sleep routine and they are surprisingly resilient. This was our first time taking such a young pup, but it has given her more confidence with strange situations and worked surprisingly well.

Congratulations to βHarrisβ Islasbraw Ash for winning overall top dog with a fantastic mark at the KC 150 Anniversary Celebration Event and being on the winning Scottish Gundog Team with owner Darryl Elliot. A really brilliant result for Darryl and 3 yo Harris and the owners of our latest puppies are justly proud as he is sire of our recent ββQβ Litter. Here is our own daughter of Harris, 10 week old Mavis celebrating with her first point todayπ

Despite being convinced that Karat would deliver early, she waited βtil the early hours of her due date before whelping our βQβ litter through last night. To all the lovely people who came to visit during March to discuss a pup, we are blessed with a litter of 10 and I will be in touch with you all very soon. Karat knew the ropes and it is a huge relief now, not to have her resembling a stretched balloon π Donβt worry, we take nothing for granted, but she has reared 10 pups before (βNβ Litter) and between us we can do it again.
