Congratulations to Aytee Kalimar (Doc) and Ben Barrett for grading in Yorkshire at the GSPA this weekend…. while perfect weather in Wales gave our 3 girls the chance of some counting and what a great couple of days thankyou one and all.

Big thankyou to the GSP Club Committee and helpers for a lovely show and great atmosphere yesterday, it really was a stella day. Congratulations to some fantastic winners and great to see some super working dogs taking awards. Special thanks to Louis Lisle for nagging me, again, 😆with Karats handling, it will get through eventually Louis ! You make it look so easy and helped us to a 3rd in good company. Fantastic too chatting ringside with regular field triallers who had come along to watch, we were very honoured :)

Good Travellers
Karat and Jerzi slept through 740 miles travelling to show in Kelso, Scotland and run at the 2019 Kennel Club Working Test at Chatsworth House this weekend. Such different days but both great competitions. Well done to some fantastic winners and thanks to judges, organisers and sponsors for making it all happen. Two wonderful days with friends and their dogs and a fourth for Karat in Open Bitch and third for Jerzi in Open. Ducklings and floating branches added to problems at the water test which made for some interesting reading in the results!

A sad day today at Aytee as we had to say goodbye to our wonderful ‘Merlot’. She has left 15 years of fantastic memories and 4 lovely Aytee daughters and granddaughters. Sleep well Merlot you did us proud XXXXX

So sad to be heading home after saying goodbye to our family in New Zealand including grand daughter Henrietta and Aytee Kimono who is also granddaughter of Ft Ch Aytee Hot Gossip. At both 2 years old it is quite something to see ‘Tarka’ doing her a perfect retrieve and they are such wonderful friends. Perhaps it will be the start of a Kiwi dynasty !

How great it is to share a much loved sport and when it includes GSP’s so much the better! We have been visiting some HPR clubs in New Zealand this weekend while travelling and had marvellous welcomes from the Waikato Gundog Club and Auckland and Regions German Shorthaired Pointer Club . Thankyou so much to Helen Sampson & Gail Blankley for organising for us to visit training sessions and we loved watching your lovely dogs work. Good luck to all those competing at the Champs next week!

It is exactly 2 years since the Aytee GSPs Training Manuals and Youtube Videos were launched and this thankyou message comes all the way from our very first Aytee Trainer in Chile who started with his first dog a GSP called Spotty ! Thankyou so much Felipe for getting us started and we hope that Spotty, who has just had his 2nd birthday, is now doing a great job for you on the Chilean Perdiz !
Aytee GSPs now has over 2000 Youtube subscribers with over 100 Training videos and there are over 1 million minutes viewed as well as over 100 people working their GSPs through our online training manuals. Phew, THANKYOU to everyone and do keep loving, enjoying and training your dogs !
