The litter will be a repeat mating of the 'K' litter from 2016.  See below Karat born August 2016 who has been introduced to game this winter.  She is a lovely kind and happy temperament.  A good retriever with a soft mouth, a keen swimmer, hunts hard and has just started pointing.  She has lots of bone, moves beautifully  and was shown successfully winning 6 firsts from 8 Ch Shows during 2017.

I am very particular about the homes that our pups go to preferring them to be with loving active, hunting and working or performance homes.  They do not have to be serious trialling homes but you will need to show that you intend to spend time training your GSP for a job and then I believe they will then be happiest and most settled.

Do email me or ring for a chat and if you confirm an interest, once Dora has been mated I will meet up with everyone over the coming weeks so your patience would be much appreciated.

For more pictures and info of what we might expect please see menu under "K" Litter as this is a repeat mating or Karats page (Aytee Katerina) under Aytee Dogs.

WE ALL TAKE THE BEST DOG HOME

Phew, character building this field trialling business.   Ha, sometimes it feels like a conspiracy of wind, birds, shooting, ground, scent, weather and of course j regs !    There's nothing so high and nothing so low as feelings on a trial day, but it's all over now for another season and after the very last day picking up day today I absolutely know that we always take the best dog home!  Even our old FTCH 14 years old this year (facing camera) did two drives  today alongside her 2 daughters and 2 grand daughters.    Have a fun summer everyone ........ enjoy your dogs !

Zero to Hero

Jerzi was foot perfect today picking up 2nd in Open at a superb trial run by the HVS  at Kingham, Oxon.   Massive congrats to winner Rory who made up his dog today.   Coming so soon after the wonderful Irish Ballinacor  trial where we were taken ill and both Aytee dogs bombed out, it was a great relief to be back on form.    Thanks for today to the HVS, the hosts, judges, competitors and organising team for such a marvellous time.

Thanks also to Steve McMannus for this picture of the beautiful ground at Ballinacor, Co Wexford  ....  we will return!

GREAT DAY WITH GUERNSEY GUNS

What an amazing day today, walking up for 8 brilliant guns visiting from Guernsey.  Thanks to Nick Elsdon of Anglia Sporting who organised the day and all the great friends who brought their lovely dogs, Maureen Nixon, Rory Major, Steve Pleasance and Hari Lampart.  What a great day,  lovely points, superb shooting and some cracking retrieves.  Some pretty amazing misses as well ! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ  such fun and banter in the gunline.  Aytee Dogs are exhausted, we are exhausted, a day to remember๐Ÿ˜Š

EVERYWHERE AWASH

Flooded drives scarcely left anywhere dry for the dogs to mark.  Karat on the left is getting to learn the ropes, but with plenty of swimmers rather than runners she didn't go much on having to be a submariner to pick a bird !  They have 17 days work this month, lets hope it dries up a bit.
