Karat was exhausted last night after spending over 4 hours in the heat of the day at the end of a camera lens. She managed to demonstrate on camera what not to do, (!) as well as what should be done (thank goodness!) for a sequence of short training videos which will soon be uploaded to our AyteeGSPS Youtube channel. We will soon be releasing a digital Training Programme for the young HPR, which will be accompanied with various demos on video. Great fun to do, but woof, Karat reckons hard work !
K LITTER IN ACTION
The K litter was 9 months old this weekend and like children they are all progressing in their chosen careers..... Juno has just passed Level 1 /Stage 1 Basic Air Scent of Human and Kane has had his first water retrieve. Karat, well, she is pretty good a carrying everything around, EVERYTHING !

A couple more practise runs at showing and KARAT is such a show off we came home with a couple more red cards. With a rest now until July there's time for some proper training!

But everywhere to hide ! We are surrounded by miles and miles of chest high oil seed rape here in Norfolk and the ground that made marvellous spring pointing two months ago is well out of bounds. Think I'll keep the pup on a lead :)
JUNO STUDIES FOR EXAMS
9 Month old Juno (Aytee Kalico) is not too young to study for her Search and Rescue Exams and is doing fine by all accounts. Hunting out hidden "patients" is not a problem, but can Ian keep up ? The answer is a definate YES (at the moment :) ) Here they are in action in Thetford Forest.
WOOOOOOOOF Karat wins at GSPA
KARAT (Aytee Katerina) sailed through at the GSPA Championship Show at Stoneleigh today winning her class. What a weekend :)
KARAT HERO TO ZERO ?
Karat (Aytee Katerina) sprang a surprise at only her second show in the Norfolk & Norwich Open winning two gundog puppy classes and coming away with the reserve group gundog puppy.
Has that set us up nicely for the GSPA Championship Show tomorrow, or will it be hero to zero ?

We have found new way of summer exercise. The ground is so hard for hunting and with the crops getting up I've taken to my bike !
Good job its not the M25 outside the back door :)
