Two trials in the last two days, at two venues in two counties, four judges, twenty four dogs and dozens of birds ..... the result - one cofm ! Perhaps everyone is trying too hard to qualify for the Championships, but this is a testing sport ! Aytee have two more chances in two more counties, in two more countries (!) we will give it our best shot. Scotland on Saturday, good luck to us all, lets hope for better scent, obedient dogs, and lord please no more backwinds :)
Our canine family outnumbered our human family for today's sunday lunch, but with another two legs due next month they're catching up :)
Aytee GSPS had a great fun today with Bev Keeble and his team of medal winning muzzle loaders! 
Fresh from Europe with a hoard of medals from percussion and flintlock competitions they shot over the pointers at Glemham Hall, kindly organised by Mark Howard. Plenty of birds, fantastic shooting and lovely company finished a wonderful day on what must have been a record bag and a discharge of weapons outside the Hall. Thanks all, hope to see you again next year !!

ZEB'S ARRIVED at "Discover Dogs" !
Aytee Harvest Harlequin "ZEB" qualified for the CRUFTS ABC AGILITY FINAL'S 2017 this weekend. Congratulations to owner Tracy a fantastic achievement. Here he is in action
An amazing day today on a beautiful ground at Lisnaskea in Northern Ireland where our young Aytee Juniper won the EJ Daly Perpetual Trophy with an Excellent and First at the German Pointer Club of Ireland's Open Trial.

Jerzi beat kennel mate FT CH Aytee Isadora into second place with a Very Good having done some wonderful work on pheasant at the Corrard Shoot. Congrats too to prizewinners Robbie Doran and Kieron Fox. Well done Jerzi you are a star !

We are spending a few days in the Emerald Isle and a FANTASTIC day's shoot over for Aytee dogs Dora and Jerzi was organised by Tom Wood from Glennoo Game Sports in Northern Ireland today.
The sun shone, the birds flew and our dogs have been superb, lets hope they have left something in the tank for Saturdays Field Trial!

Zeb and Tracy receiving yet another agility award this summer. Otherwise known as Aytee Harvest Harlequin from the "H" Litter, Zeb at 7 is as "amazing and handsome as ever". Pictured with handler Tracy Moerel they have both qualified for the Discover Dogs Finals of Agility after a summer of winning silverware and rosettes !
Well done to you both and good luck. Unfortunately we are away trialling so cannot go, but the pair will be running on Sunday 23rd October at the Discover Dogs at the Excel in London for anyone who wants to go along and support them.

Jerzi ransacked a field of roots brilliantly ending with a super point, on her first run of the season at the Dukeries Open Trial in Rhug. What a clever girl then, having missed the mark because so many birds got up, to complete what was probably her longest blind retrieve ever, right away down across the hillside. However, having located the partridge, (pretty impressively) she decided that it needed one more point before it should be retrieved! Grrrrrr. Well we went out in style, shaking hands with the super judges and smiling all the way back - never any half measures with our Jerzi ! I cant wait to get out again, she is such fun. Well done to winner Steve Kimberley, half way to FtCh :)
