The AYTEE Kennel is a 35 year old line of homebred working dogs. Bringing together the very best of Show Lines with  top Working Dogs.  Run by Lucie Hustler in Norfolk, our aim is to create a true Dual Purpose Dog.

We have genuine working dogs. They pick up at local shoots every week during the season. They have soft mouths, they swim well, they have great game finding ability and importantly they are carefully bred from showing as well as working lines.   See this video of our dogs working for a local shoot at the end of the 2015/6 season.

Our family have owned and bred, shown, worked and field trialled GSP’s since the 70’s and we started our small kennel in 1980 (“AYTEE”).  We are KC Accredited Breeders and have been awarded a Breeders Diploma from the Kennel Club. We usually have 3 GSP bitches, breeding one litter every few years.   In showing, our GSP’s have taken us to Crufts and in the field they have won many awards.  Currently we have two Field Trial Champions and in 2015 won the Kennel Club HPR Championship.

The first AYTEE Field Trial Winner was in 1991 with AYTEE CHARITY winning 9 FT Awards and owners have also enjoyed success in other areas too, with  AYTEE HARVEST HARLEQUIN from the ‘H’ litter of 2009, getting to the Agility Finals at Olympia.

When we breed a litter we always choose a sire that is a leading Champion Show dog, but it must also be proven in the shooting field. (see Aytee Dogs)

The Dual Purpose Dog is always our goal.  Puppies are bred for temperament and intelligence as well as beauty and stamina as we are always aiming for puppies to be very trainable.

Our dogs live in the Norfolk countryside surrounded by fields and woods. They are kept alongside horses and are used to cattle, chickens, cats, etc.

The following video was shot in October 2013 as part of the Shooting Show for Horse and Country TV.    It featured  Aytee Harvest Havoc and Aytee Isadora who were working alongside a Korthals Griffon (French wirehaired pointer).  Produced by James Marchington who is well known for his video production in all things country it was a marvellous days sport, allowing HPR’s to do what they are best at  – Rough Shooting.
